The symbol of the ”Custodia di Terra Sancta”

The Franciscan Order is a Christian Order that was founded in 1209 BC. 

The one that based the order was Francisco’s from Assisi in Italy

The Franciscans were living in the land from the year 1217, but the

 formal certificate of approval as the custody of the Holy 

Land (Terra Sancta) , was  received from the pope Clement VI in 1342 . 

The custody significance was a permanent presence in areas of Holy Land

In the bottom one tree branch of Olive – signifies peace and one tree branch of Palm tree signifies the entrance of Jesus into Jerusalem.
