We start the tour just next to the iconic “Clock Tower” that was built for the sultan Abdul Hamid the Second in the beginning of the 20th century.
By strolling along the old city we will explore its history beginning with the Egyptian Pharaohs all the way to the establishment of the State of Israel, its Christian, Muslim and Jewish connections.
Reaching Jaffa’s old port, at its northern entrance Andromeda’s Rock links Jaffa to Greek Mythology.
A short walk will bring us also to Jaffa’s Flea Market. The former city’s commercial center is now known for its vintage shops, art galleries, boutique hotels, and vibrant market. It is also a good place for a lunch break, or a wonderful ice cream… and of course, some souvenir shopping.
