The Lost Scrolls in Qumran

In 1947 a Bedouin gout herder found a cave containing Hebrew written scrolls, this event started a multiyear drama that eventually came about discovering the “Qumran” site!

Most archaeologists believe that The Qumran site with all its 11 caves containing 929 scrolls,  represent a Jewish sect whose headquarters was nearby. This sect objected to the priests in Jerusalem and lived in anticipation of the messiah. A fascinating and intriguing theory also links this group to John the Baptist and the inception of Christianity. We will tour the site and understand the sect special day to day life.

WE WILL ALSO LEARN ABOUT THE “COOPER SCROLL”! special cooper scroll believed to include the secret locations of the Jews Temple artifacts that were hidden in the desert.
